Argo Cruising was established by owner Jason Dempsey in 2002, at the time Jason was the Chief Instructor Royal Engineers Boat Operations.

Jason spent 23 years in the Corps of Royal Engineers (Army) working all over the world, his last 10 years were spent in boat operations both working and teaching in a wide range of locations & environments.

Argo comes from the Greek mythology Jason & the Argonauts. It was the name of the boat on which Jason & the Argonauts sailed to find the Golden Fleece.

Jason is a highly motivated professional with a great sense of humour who relishes a good challenge. His interests besides boating include, rugby (retired now), golf (his clubs are his handicap!)And discovering the wonderful hidden secrets of the Balearics.

He has also been known to enjoy a good sing song (after a couple!).

Jason is happily married and lives on the Island of Mallorca with his lovely wife Sam and his three wonderful children Molly, Georgia & Alfie.
